Inspired by the ancient wanderers of the four-corners area in the west, I found myself wanting to answer the question: “Who has been here before us?” We see a fallen mythical beast from a past millenium in bone form, carved out of limestone, next to a mountain stream.
A swimmer is caught at the moment of creating the flow of water dispersion dynamics on the Exercise and Sports Sciences Building at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. This mural is made of colorful aluminum hemispheres.
This interactive public art environment was commissioned by Western Colorado University in Gunnison, CO, connecting the music and visual arts departments outside Quigley Hall. “The Power of Limits” is a description associated to the natural geometric proportions of all organic matter in the universe. Artwork and music use these same proportions, connecting the two departments.
